KTIAM LLC became a member of the Technological platform “Materials and metallurgic technologies”. The aim of our membership in the Technological platform is to facilitate the penetration of friction welding in machining and metal industries. Friction welding allows to create a nonbreakable joint of high durability of homogeneous and heterogeneous metals and alloys. Besides, that allows to increase efficiency and productivity.
Technology platform “Materials and metallurgic technologies” is a mechanism of effective collaboration of industrial and national interests of Russian Federation which is based on government-private cooperation principles with a widened attraction of state, business and social organizations in decision making process. The decisions a platform is involved in refer to determination of R&D priorities in different perspective economic, scientific, technological or design projects, with regards to temporary financial means, and implementation of these projects.

It is the largest state-owned supply company, which has been developing materials that determine the image of details of aerospace industry for more than 80 years. FGUP “VIAM” GNC RF owns modern experimental research production facility of more than 700 units of research and test equipment including those, available in single copies in Russia for the multipurpose solution of scientific-research problems. Provided solutions include fundamental and fundamentally-oriented research to the issue of batches of new materials and semis.

National Research Technological University MISiS is the leading institute of Russia in prepareing engineers and scientists in the field of metallurgy and material science; metals, composites, powder, superconducting and semiconducting materials is are produced and processed there; it develops advanced materials and technologies; it is resource conservative and sustainable; uses certification and quality management; advanced in computer science and information system. Affiliates of NITU “MISiS” are located in Novotroick, Stary Oskol, Elecrtostal Vyksa. Highly qualified personnel is trained there for the metallurgical and other industries.
